Forrest County Agricultural is 1-8 against Poplarville since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Aggies will look to defend their home field against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Poplarville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Forrest County Agricultural, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Forrest County Agricultural was able to grind out a solid victory over Greene County, taking the game 21-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aggies.

Meanwhile, Poplarville suffered their biggest loss since November 1, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 49-28 to Columbia.

Forrest County Agricultural will have to contain Tylan Keys as he made an impact in Poplarville's last game. He rushed for 238 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.9 yards per carry, and also caught one score. Keys was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 64 yards.

Poplarville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Forrest County Agricultural, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Forrest County Agricultural was dealt a bruising 45-15 loss at the hands of Poplarville when the teams last played back in November of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Keys, who rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry.
