The Magnificat Blue Streaks are taking a road trip to take on the North Olmsted Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Magnificat is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Magnificat is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Padua Franciscan, falling 9-3.

Magnificat saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Wheeler, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Wheeler's first of the season. Another was Cami Riordan, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, North Olmsted was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Cuyahoga Falls.

Morgan Outrich was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Jocelyn Suckart was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Magnificat's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Olmsted, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

North Olmsted's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Magnificat hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .346.
