Basketball Recap: Carney-Nadeau Comes Up Short

Carney-Nadeau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Bark River-Harris Broncos 89-55. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-51 back in January.

Carney-Nadeau's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Bark River-Harris, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

Carney-Nadeau and Bark River-Harris could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Carney-Nadeau (ranked 620th) will meet North Dickinson (ranked 258th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Bark River-Harris will square off against Forest Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 481 places (539 vs. 58).
