Baseball Recap: Reedy Comes Up Short

Reedy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.42 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the Wakeland Wolverines, falling 11-2. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Reedy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Wakeland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
