Baseball Recap: Mansfield Senior Victorious

After only one run in their last contest, Mansfield Senior made sure to put some runs up on the board against Willard on Friday. The Tygers won by a run and slipped past the Crimson Flashes 10-9. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Tygers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Mansfield Senior let Guy Trader and MJ Bradley run wild. Trader got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Bradley got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Bradley is becoming a predictor of Mansfield Senior's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-13 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Debolt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Mansfield Senior's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Willard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
