Baseball Recap: Southern Christian Comes Up Short

Southern Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Ezekiel Academy Knights. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 9-3 to the Knights when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jedd Scott made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Southern Christian is 2-1 when Scott posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-6 otherwise. Brooks Pender also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Southern Christian now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Ezekiel Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-11.
