Basketball Recap: Forest Area Comes Up Short

Forest Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-14 loss at the hands of the Bellaire Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 684th, while the Eagles are ranked 248th).

Forest Area's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Bellaire, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-4.

Forest Area has already played their next contest (against Onaway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bellaire, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 72-22 victory against Johannesburg-Lewiston on the 11th.
