Volleyball Recap: Kuna Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kuna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Kuna started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-18.

Afton McRae paced Kuna's offense, picking up ten kills. McRae got some help from Ruby Rausch and her 26 assists. Rausch also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Joslyn Beers, racking up two apiece.

Kuna's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mountain View, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4-2.

Kuna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Boise on the 10th. As for Mountain View, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Eagle on the 10th.
