            Basketball Recap: McLane Highlanders vs. Sanger West Hornets        
        
		
        
        
            McLane was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They were six  points away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sanger West Hornets. The Highlanders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won  67-54.

Perhaps the best among them was   Demetrius Simon, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with ten  points and nine  boards. Simon is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as he's  posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's  played.  Jazmier Boyland was another key player,  putting up nine points and five  rebounds.
McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Sanger West, their record now sits at 15-13.
As of now, neither McLane nor Sanger West have any future games scheduled.
