Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saratoga Springs). Everything went their way against the Albany Falcons on Friday as they made off with a 42-16 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Streaks in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

Benjamin Coryea had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 229 yards and three scores while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. Coryea is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 115 every time he's taken the field this season.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Saratoga Springs was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 241 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Albany's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kahlil Beckett, who rushed for 90 yards, and also caught one touchdown.

Saratoga Springs' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Albany, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Saratoga Springs has already played their next matchup, a 35-21 defeat against Shenendehowa on the 24th. As for Albany, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 61-8 loss against Christian Brothers Academy on the 24th.
