On Friday Los Altos's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Leland Chargers, sneaking past 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Chargers since March 2, 2018.

Los Altos' victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Baum, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-5.

Los Altos' record now sits at 4-0. As for Leland, they dropped their record down to 3-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Los Altos will square off against King's Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Los Altos' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so King's Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Leland, they will challenge Fremont at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
