Soccer Recap: Berean Christian Falls to St. Patrick-St. Vincent in First Game of Season

Berean Christian kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins. Berean Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Patrick-St. Vincent apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.

The victory got St. Patrick-St. Vincent back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Berean Christian will venture away from home to square off against Salesian College Preparatory at 3:30 p.m. on the 1st. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hercules at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd. The matchup will give St. Patrick-St. Vincent their first taste of in-conference action this season.
