Volleyball Recap: Xavier Falls Short Against Ranked Arrowhead

Xavier faced Arrowhead in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warhawks. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rose Kendall paced Xavier's offense, picking up six kills. Kendall got some help from Sydney Neilitz and her 15 assists.

Xavier's defeat dropped their record down to 23-10. As for Arrowhead, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-12.

Xavier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Appleton North on the 11th. As for Arrowhead, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Divine Savior Holy Angels on the 11th.
