South Plainfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Hudson Catholic, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3.

South Plainfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 win against East Brunswick on the 28th. As for Hudson Catholic, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-4 loss against Bayonne on the 28th.
