Baseball Recap: Millsap Victorious

While Millsap's victory against Moody wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Millsap Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Moody Bearcats on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Dawson Lynch made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lynch was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Reid Green, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Millsap back to even at 2-2. As for Moody, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Moody, they are taking a road trip to face off against Itasca at 7:00 p.m. on March 10th.
