Basketball Recap: Shadow Ridge Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Shadow Ridge posted their closest win since February 4th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Browne Bruins, sneaking past 57-55. The victory was familiar territory for the Stallions, who have now won three games in a row.

Browne's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Karmello Walker, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 17 boards. The matchup was Walker's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Tony Bayigamba was another key player, shooting 44% from the field to rack up 18 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.

The win got Shadow Ridge back to even at 3-3. As for Browne, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Shadow Ridge will head out to challenge Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Stallions will be up against the Coyotes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.86 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Browne, they will be playing at home against Tolleson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
