Baseball Recap: New Diana Comes Up Short

New Diana and Boyd squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but New Diana had to settle for second. They came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 7-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost three in a row.

New Diana's defeat dropped their record down to 26-10-1. As for Boyd, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 34-5.

New Diana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boyd, they will square off against Wall on Saturday.
