Basketball Recap: Coram Deo Academy Takes a Loss

Coram Deo Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Midland Christian Mustangs, falling 68-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-44 back in January.

Coram Deo Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Langat, who went 7 for 17 en route to 18 points. Myles Allen was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Coram Deo Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Midland Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-15 record this season.

Coram Deo Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 96-50 loss against Trinity Christian on the 1st. Midland Christian has also already played their next contest, a 66-46 win against Fort Worth Christian on the 1st.
