Soccer Game Preview: Colonia vs. Edison

The Colonia Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Edison Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Colonia lost 7-1 to Metuchen on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Colonia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while Metuchen are ranked 28th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edison). They won by a goal and slipped past Middlesex 3-2 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Edison.

Edison picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Colonia, they are now 7-5, having gone 1-3 since their four-game winning streak ended.
