Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pinconning Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 last Tuesday.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Pinconning, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Central will head out on the road to square off against Carman-Ainsworth at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Pinconning has already played their next matchup (against Oscoda), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
