Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Glenbard South

Glenbard South lost to Lake Park back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Lancers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted against the Lancers since September 21, 2019.

Glenbard South had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Lake Park's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addison Norberg, who had 13 assists and seven digs, and Deven Townsend, who had nine digs and three assists.

The win was the third in a row for Glenbard South, bringing their record up to 19-14. As for Lake Park, they dropped their record down to 11-24 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Glenbard South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Park, they will square off against Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
