Volleyball Recap: Classical Comes Up Short

Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Central Christian Academy Lions. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Ellie Petz, who had six digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine matches.

Classical's loss dropped their record down to 5-16-1. As for Central Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Classical has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Flinthills on the 27th. As for Central Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Remington on the 27th.
