Recap: Johnson Atomsmashers vs. Groves Rebels
On Friday, the Johnson Atomsmashers's game was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down Groves 72-54. The win made it back-to-back wins for Johnson.
Johnson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joshua Quarterman out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Favion Kirkwood, who scored 21 points.
Johnson pushed their record up to 15-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Groves, they now have a losing record at 12-13.
Johnson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Groves also has no future games currently scheduled.
