West Florida Baptist Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the L.E.A.D. Academy Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11, 25-16.

Olivia Pearce paced West Florida Baptist Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Pearce got some help from Mary Kathryn Drummond and her 40 assists. Lainey Garret controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

L.E.A.D. Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jixelle Von Canon, who had ten digs, and Alayna Lombardo, who had seven digs and two aces.

West Florida Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-0. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

West Florida Baptist Academy has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Covenant Christian on the 12th. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Central on the 15th.
