King Cove skates past Bristol Bay with ease

Recap: King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies vs. Bristol Bay Angels

The King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Bristol Bay 75-34 on the road. King Cove has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 27 points or more this season.

Thomas Mack was his usual excellent self, scoring 37 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jager Brandell, who scored 21 points.

When it comes to explaining why Bristol Bay lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chad Anderson. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points.

King Cove's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Bristol Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

King Cove's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Archangels at 3:30 p.m. on January 30th. Lumen Christi will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alaska Rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the T-Jacks and Rookies are ranked 19th). Bristol Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
