Soccer Game Preview: Murphy vs. Blue Ridge Early College

The Murphy Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Murphy's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Summit Charter as they made off with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Murphy, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Blue Ridge Early College made sure to put some goals up on the board against Tri-County on Wednesday. They blew past the Jaguars 4-1. Blue Ridge Early College haven't had any issues with Tri-County recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Blue Ridge Early College now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Murphy, their win bumped their record up to 12-3-1.

Murphy skirted past Blue Ridge Early College 1-0 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
