Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Glenbrook South

Glenbrook South won the last time they faced Glenbrook North and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Titans came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

While Glenbrook South won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Zolboo Erdene paced Glenbrook South's offense, picking up nine kills. Erdene got some help from Logan Ball and his 14 assists. Ryan Lee controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Glenbrook South pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Glenbrook North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

The RedHawks will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glenbrook North, they will be taking part in a tournament against Belleville East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
