Softball Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss

Robinson was the 15-2 winner over Fairfax when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Lions by a score of 7-6 on Friday.

Robinson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stella Gilbert, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fairfax, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Robinson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-2 defeat against South County on the 1st. As for Fairfax, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against West Potomac on the 1st.
