Volleyball Recap: Edisto Comes Up Short

Edisto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hampton County Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on September 9th.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-14.

Edisto's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hampton County, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Edisto is set to take on their familiar foe Whale Branch at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hampton County will face off against rival Lake Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
