While Etiwanda's victory against Upland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Highlanders/Scots 3-2 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups in a row.
Jaxson Milius looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
At the plate, Jaeden Toki was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Derick Kim, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
