Volleyball Game Preview: Brookline Warriors vs. Natick Redhawks

The Brookline Warriors will face off against the Natick Redhawks at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Brookline came up short against Wellesley and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Natick hadn't done well against Newton North recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Redhawks walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redhawks.

Brookline better focus on containing Lillian Chung and Ruby Jasper as the pair were huge in Natick's win. Chung had seven digs and three aces, while Jasper had 14 assists and nine digs. What's more, Chung racked up 15 assists, the most she's had over her last four matchups.

Natick's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Brookline, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-3.

Everything went Brookline's way against Natick in their previous matchup back in September, as Brookline made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
