Heartland Lutheran won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were beaten by the Shelton Bulldogs 62-14.
Although Heartland Lutheran took the loss, they still got scores from Luke Olson and Vincent Marcello.
Ben Myers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Shelton, rushing for 238 yards and five touchdowns on only ten carries. Myers' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
Heartland Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Shelton, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.
