Basketball Recap: Quinton Takes a Loss

Quinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Broken Bow Savages, falling 85-47. While losing is never fun, Quinton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while Broken Bow is ranked 102nd).

Quinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Broken Bow, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quinton will venture away from home to face off against Keys at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Broken Bow, they are taking a road trip to take on Rattan at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Rattan will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Broken Bow surely won't give up without a fight.
