Santee and West Adams are an even 3-3-4 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Santee Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the West Adams Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. West Adams took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Santee, who comes in off a win.

Santee will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals last Friday, then bounced right back against Manual Arts on Friday. Everything went Santee's way against Manual Arts as Santee made off with a 4-1 win. The score was close at the half, but the Falcons pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Manual Arts with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Angel Moralez Moralez (2), Oscar Samuel Cruz, and Andrew Mendez.

Meanwhile, West Adams has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 4. They came up short against Dr. Maya Angelou Community on Friday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 978th, while the Phoenix are ranked 146th).

Santee's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-5. As for West Adams, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-6.
