Football Recap: Aptos Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Aptos extended their losing streak to seven on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-8. They came up short against the Hollister Haybalers, falling 27-6. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Mariners couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Hollister, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. That 21 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Stephen Seymour went supernova, rushing for 147 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Aptos wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 30-6 loss against North Salinas on the 7th. As for Hollister, they have also already played their next game, a 35-14 defeat against Palma on the 7th.
