Preview: Wahpeton vs. St. Mary's Central
Wahpeton had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Friday they take on St. Mary's Central at 7:00 PM. The odds don't look promising for Wahpeton, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
Wahpeton ended up a good deal behind Turtle Mountain when they played.
Meanwhile, St. Mary's Central took their match against Valley City by a conclusive 35-8 score.
St. Mary's Central's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Wahpeton's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if St. Mary's Central can add another positive mark to their record or if Wahpeton can shake off the loss and take the spring out of St. Mary's Central's step.
