Volleyball Game Preview: Champlin Park Rebels vs. Anoka Tornadoes

The Champlin Park Rebels will face off against the Anoka Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Champlin Park has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while Anoka will come in with four straight victories.

Last Wednesday, Champlin Park came up short against Andover and fell 3-1.

Champlin Park was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Andover work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-19, 14-25, 25-20, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Anoka faced Elk River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Tornadoes came out on top against the Elks by a score of 3-1.

Anoka had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-18, 25-16.

Anoka had a senior duo take command as Chuyi Vang had 16 digs and four assists and Skyler Lor had 15 assists and 11 digs.

Champlin Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Anoka, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
