Preview: Lewis-Palmer Rangers vs. Palmer Ridge Bears
Lewis-Palmer is 9-1 against Palmer Ridge since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lewis-Palmer Rangers will look to defend their home court against the Palmer Ridge Bears at 7:00 p.m. Lewis-Palmer has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 336 points over their last five contests.
Lewis-Palmer posted their biggest victory since December 1, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 75-51 margin over Cheyenne Mountain. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-20.
Cohen Edmondson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. Another player making a difference was Nate Johnson, who scored 17 points.
Palmer Ridge posted their closest victory yet this season on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Pueblo County and snuck past 45-43.
Jimmer Weir was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Alex Kraft was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Lewis-Palmer is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Palmer Ridge, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Everything went Lewis-Palmer's way against Palmer Ridge in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as Lewis-Palmer made off with a 66-44 victory. Does Lewis-Palmer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palmer Ridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
