On Thursday, Falconer faced Portville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Falconer Golden Falcons came up short against the Portville Panthers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Falcons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October.
Falconer was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Portville work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-10, 25-20.
