Volleyball Recap: South Spencer Rebels vs. Forest Park Rangers

South Spencer and Forest Park squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but South Spencer had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Kylea Donoho paced South Spencer's offense, picking up 15 kills. Donoho got some help from Macy Southwood and her 34 assists. Macy Beckort controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Forest Park was led to victory by Mya Wehr and Carli Hagedorn. Wehr had ten digs and four aces, while Hagedorn had ten digs. That's the most aces Wehr has posted since back in September.

South Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Forest Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

South Spencer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forest Park, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Perry Central on the 18th.
