Preview: Chilton Tigers vs. Kohler Blue Bombers
The Chilton Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Kohler Blue Bombers at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Chilton's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.
Even though Chilton has not done well against Brillion recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Chilton strolled past Brillion with points to spare, taking the game 59-44.
Kohler suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 83-40 defeat at the hands of Sheboygan Area Lutheran. Kohler has not had much luck with Sheboygan Area Lutheran recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Chilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Kohler, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Chilton was able to grind out a solid victory over Kohler in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, winning 72-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chilton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
