Basketball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 35th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 63-31 loss at the hands of the Oak Hill Raiders. If the Greyhounds were looking for revenge after losing 58-20 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lisbon's record now sits at 0-17. As for Oak Hill, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lisbon will welcome North Yarmouth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Dominic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Dominic will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Oak Hill surely won't give up without a fight.
