Basketball Recap: Lower Cape May Takes a Loss

Lower Cape May was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ocean City Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-17 back in December of 2024.

Naomi Nnewihe was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 16 boards for Ocean City. Casey Adamson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Lower Cape May's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ocean City, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6.

Lower Cape May has already played their next game (against Cedar Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ocean City has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Hammonton.
