Wenonah's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past the Woodlawn Colonels with points to spare, taking the game 57-41. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wenonah to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janiyah Starks, who posted 14 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Londyn Scott, who put up 22 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists.

Wenonah's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Woodlawn, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Wenonah has already played their next contest, a 56-50 defeat against Huffman on the 22nd. As for Woodlawn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-28 loss against Huntsville on the 24th.
