Basketball Recap: Mora Comes Up Short

After soaring to 76 points the game before, Mora was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They fell 30-23 to the McCurdy Bobcats. The matchup marked the Rangers/Rangerettes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ryan Montoya was his usual excellent self, going 5-for-10 en route to 20 points and seven boards for McCurdy.

Mora's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for McCurdy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Mora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 37-35 win against Escalante on the 20th. As for McCurdy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-48 victory against Questa on the 18th.
