Picayune falls short of West Jones in the playoffs

Recap: Picayune Maroon Tide vs. West Jones Mustangs
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Picayune Maroon Tide, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 42-13 defeat at the hands of the Mustangs on Friday. Picayune's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Picayune's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for West Jones, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Picayune does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Jones will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Grenada at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Grenada is ranked ninth, while West Jones is ranked second).
