Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Dragons vs. Scott Highlanders

The Clinton Dragons will head out to take on the Scott Highlanders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Clinton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three matches.

Clinton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Cumberland Gap, posting a 71-31 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Scott played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 65-29 loss at the hands of Gibbs. The game marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Clinton, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Clinton took their victory against Scott in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 70-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clinton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
