Baseball Game Preview: Bell Eagles vs. South Gate Rams

For the second straight game, Bell will face off against South Gate. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bell's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so South Gate's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Bell's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against South Gate by a score of 4-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bell let David Gonzalez and Jesse Anguiano run wild. Gonzalez scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Anguiano went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Rojas, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Bell's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for South Gate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
