Basketball Recap: Langford Comes Up Short

Langford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Dakota Hills [Wilmot/Waubay/Summit] Grizzlies 68-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-52 back in December of 2024.

Langford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Dakota Hills [Wilmot/Waubay/Summit], their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12.

Langford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-40 loss against Wilmot on the 8th. Dakota Hills [Wilmot/Waubay/Summit] will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Flandreau Indian on February 20th.
