Volleyball Recap: Howell Central Comes Up Short

Howell Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the St. Pius X Lancers. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Lancers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19.

Howell Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for St. Pius X, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Coincidentally, Howell Central and St. Pius X will both be playing Lafayette the next time they take the court. The Lancers will head out to face the Lancers at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
